The terms that govern your use of the Dream Career Connection website and text messaging program.

Acceptance of these terms.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Dream Career Connection website and services. By using the site or submitting an interview or inquiry request, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Our services.

Dream Career Connection pairs students with working professionals through mentor apprenticeships in music, film, radio, and culinary arts. Information on the site is provided for general informational purposes and does not guarantee admission, placement, or any particular outcome.

Eligibility and your information.

You must be 18 or older, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to use our services. You agree to provide accurate and current information, and you confirm that any phone number you submit belongs to you and that you are authorized to receive messages at it.

Text messaging terms.

By checking the SMS consent box on our interview form, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Dream Career Connection at the number you provide. The following terms apply to that program:

  • Program: appointment and interview reminders, application and enrollment updates, and program information.
  • Message frequency varies.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • To opt out, reply STOP at any time. For help, reply HELP or contact us.
  • Consent is not a condition of enrollment or of any purchase.
  • Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Our handling of the information collected through the text messaging program is described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use.

You agree not to misuse the site, including by attempting to disrupt it, access it without authorization, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual property.

The site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, and trademarks, are owned by Dream Career Connection or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. You may not copy or reuse the content without permission.

Disclaimers.

The site and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dream Career Connection will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the site or services.

Governing law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Changes to these terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
